Virtual Senior Games Swindon returns for 2021

After a successful first ever Virtual Senior Games Swindon in late 2020, Swindon Sports Forum will be running the games for a second time in 2021.

This year will see 7 teams from different care homes across Swindon, complete a series of physical activities in the hope of being crowned champion. The activities will be: golf putting, javelin throwing, target mat throwing and tin can alley.

The games will take place from Thursday 30th September 2021 until Sunday 3rd October 2021, known as Silver Sunday, a day celebrating the amazing contributions older people make to our communities. Care homes can complete the activities at times that suit them best and then results will be submitted to Chris Baker who will announce the results on the final day.

Whilst all participants will receive medals for taking part, the winning care home will take home the trophy and etch their name onto the brand new winners shield.
