Inspired by a visit to the Glasgow Senior Games in 2019, Swindon Sports Forum in partnership with Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire and Swindon Sport ran their own version in Swindon for 2020. The games were due to take place as an in person event but sadly Covid meant that this year they took place virtually.

6 care homes took part in 4 activities and the team that accumulated the most points were crowned Virtual Senior Games champions for 2020 and took home the first ever Senior Games trophy for Swindon.

The following care homes took part: Hurst House, Prince Rupert Court (Guinness Care), Lansdowne Hill, Ladymead Care, Parkview and Ridgeway Rise.

The four activities were: Foam Javelin, Tin Can Alley, Golf Putting and Target Mat.

A big congratulations to Guinness Care who were the champions!
