Sports Forum grant supports new Boules Pit

Thanks to a £1000 grant from Swindon Sports Forum, Stratton Churchway Bowls Club have now completed the extension of their Boules Pit.

The club has been able to increase capacity from 16 to 24 so 50% more people can play at any one time. The boules pit is an all-year facility and enables those who attend to have a bit of exercise along with a cup of tea and cake. Stratton Churchway have seen real benefits from a social perspective and Tuesday morning Boules has quickly become an integral part of their Club.
