Sports Forum Grant helps break the ice

Swindon Sports Forum has given financial support to Swindon Wildcats in the Community to help support their Learn to Skate session that takes place at the Link Centre in Swindon. The grant of almost £500 has helped fund new safety equipment as well as some new hockey sticks.

The new equipment has meant that Swindon Wildcats in the Community can allow more people to join the session and help support the development of young children in the community through ice skating.

A small percentage of the money has been spent on creating new flyers for the session and it is hoped this will increase the outreach of the session so even more young children can benefit from it.
